For more than 30 years, Cardiology Associates of Greater Waterbury (CAGW) has been the region's leading physician practice for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.   Our practice specializes in a full range of cardiac issues—from prevention, intervention, and non-invasive testing—and offers convenient, local "one stop" care and services, including diagnostic testing (link to diagnostic testing/CDC), for patients and their families.

Specialized cardiovascular therapy is also available in partnership with the Heart Center of Greater Waterbury.

As a full-service cardiology treatment center, CAGW features a staff of board-certified, highly skilled cardiologists and a physician assistant.    A unique feature of our practice is the CAGW Nurse Triage Center.  Our well-trained nurses act as important liaisons between the patient and the cardiologist as well as with the patient's full healthcare team.  This means that patients and their family members have a nurse they can rely on to help coordinate their care, answer questions, and help them quickly obtain the care and treatment they need.

Our cardiologists are on call and available to patients 24 hours a day to provide continuity of care during and after a hospital stay.
