Why
Support Waterbury Hospital?
Since its founding in 1890, Waterbury Hospital has served the medical
and wellness needs of a very generous community. Your support has
helped fund community programs and services, state-of-the-art medical
equipment, construction and renovations and medical education.
Today, an increasingly challenging health care environment makes your
philanthropic support more important than ever. Gifts to the Annual
Fund, for example, make a true difference in the lives of our
community’s residents.
Find out how you can help provide the resources needed to continue
Waterbury Hospital’s tradition of over a century of unsurpassed and
compassionate care. You can choose many forms of giving including cash
donations, planned gifts (such as bequests), or participation in one
or more of our events. Gifts from individuals, corporations,
foundations, family members and former patients help Waterbury
Hospital fulfill its goals of increasing the health and well-being of
our community.
The Development Office welcomes your inquiries. Please contact Chief
Development Officer Tom Missett at 203.573.6029 or by email at

Planned Giving
The Society for Tomorrow
at Waterbury Hospital is comprised of loyal and deeply caring people
who have provided for the hospital in their estate plans. Waterbury
Hospital is grateful to this special group of donors for their
foresight, generosity and unwavering commitment to the hospital and to
wellness in Greater Waterbury.
Donors who wish to leave a legacy to Waterbury Hospital are invited to
join the Society for tomorrow by making a planned gift. Aside from
the benefits of eliminating or reducing taxes, providing for family
security, or perhaps receiving a guaranteed lifetime annual income
stream, a planned gift also provides untold joys—especially to the
donor, who is assured of supporting the healthcare needs of our
community for untold years ahead. |
