Waterbury Hospital Announces 19th Annual TGIF (Thank God I’m Female) Women’s Wellness Forum 

WATERBURY – Waterbury Hospital today announced that its 19th annual TGIF (Thank God I’m Female) women’s wellness forum will take place Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Villa Rosa Wedding & Banquet Facility (The Ponte Club.) The event, which will be hosted by WFSB TV Channel 3 personalities Scot Haney and Teresa LaBarbera, will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include a sit-down dinner. 

The theme of this year’s event is “Love Your Heart…and Have Your Wine and Chocolate, Too!” The keynote speakers will be Kevin Kett, MD, and Steven Widman, MD, who are cardiology specialists with Cardiology Associates of Waterbury, PC. The doctors will talk about the best ways for women to maintain heart health. 

The TGIF event has become a popular annual draw for women interested in learning about how to make the most of their health while enjoying an evening of good food, company and entertainment.
