to those resources, please go through the hospital network to visit the

Purpose
The
purpose of the Waterbury Hospital Health Center Library is to provide
employees, hospital affiliated physicians, residents, and students,
the right information at the right time, proactively, and on-demand,
to help them make timely, and informed decisions for their jobs. The
Library also extends its service to patients, their families, and the
community.
Library Hours
The Library is staffed Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to
4:30 p.m.
Electronic resources can be accessed from hospital computers and the
Library Intranet at all times.
Some electronic resources can be accessed from outside the hospital
through
www.waterburyhospital.org with passwords.
Library Location
The Library is in the North Wing, on the first floor, at the
opposite end of the cafeteria. (Room 1400)
The Library’s Intranet can be accessed through Waterbury Hospital
Health Center Intranet.
The Library’s Internet can be accessed through
www.waterburyhospital.org.
Library Services
Patients, their families, and community people are welcome to
use the Library during the Library’s staffed hours. They are also
welcome to visit the Health Center Library section of the Waterbury
Hospital Health Center website at
www.waterburyhospital.org. Reference
questions through telephone calls will be honored during the office
hours.
