With more than 47 years of experience in internal medicine, Dr. Levinson is known for his thoughtful, steady approach and deep commitment to lifelong patient relationships.
Dr. Levinson earned his medical degree from the University of Louvain, in Belgium, giving him a broad, international perspective on medicine. He completed his internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his internal medicine residency at Waterbury Hospital, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive adult care. Dr. Levinson has also participated in the Yale Residency Teaching Program for several years, contributing to the education and mentorship of future physicians.
Practicing since 1983, Dr. Levinson is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Levinson has focused on preventative care, acute medical management, and ongoing care for chronic conditions, helping patients maintain their health over time while addressing concerns as they arise.
