WATERBURY HOSPITAL VISITOR RESTRICTIONS
As the number of Coronavirus cases increases in the state, Waterbury Hospital officials have decided to allow no visitors on the premises in order to protect patients and employees.
Effective, Sunday, March 15, at 8 pm. Waterbury Hospital is closed to visitors with the exception of compassionate care visits. We are allowing only one visitor for: Labor and Delivery and Outpatient Surgery.
The hospital continues to test patients for the virus at its drive through Coronavirus Sampling Station and is expecting the number of patients with Coronavirus in the state to increase.
“As the coronavirus infection becomes more prominent in our community, we need to take additional steps to protect our patients, staff and our visitors.” said Dr. Justin Lundbye, chief medical officer.
